I read with interest the story about the judge who was removed from a case because of, what the Court of Appeal referred to as "intemperate language" and a generally hostile demeanour towards one party. It reminded me of a quote I read recently that all those in family law (including lawyers and their clients) could do well to keep in mind -
"Anybody can become angry - that is easy; but to be angry with the right person, and to the right degree, and at the right time, and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy."
Apparently that was the wisdom of Aristotle!
